Privacy Policy for all Planar Systems Websites

This Privacy Policy Statement (this “Privacy Policy”) outlines the practices of Planar Systems, Inc., its subsidiaries, and affiliates (collectively “Planar”) regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information collected from you by means of Planar’s network of Web properties (collectively the “Planar Site”). By using the Planar Site you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not want your information to be collected and used in the manner described in this Privacy Policy, you can opt out by not participating in or making use of the Planar Site.

Information that Planar Collects

Children’s Privacy Policy

Planar does not sell products to persons under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, you are required seek the approval of your parent or guardian to purchase products from the Planar Site. The Planar Site is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age under any circumstances. Planar does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.


Planar collects non-personally identifiable, anonymous information from all visitors to the Planar Site. In the event that Planar is acquired by or merged into another company, all information collected will be transferred to the acquiring company as one of Planar’s assets and will be governed by the acquiring company’s privacy policy, if any.


Planar takes precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The personally identifiable information you provide to Planar is stored on servers located in a controlled environment that Planar takes efforts to protect from unauthorized access by both physical and electronic measures. Planar strives to provide a commercially reasonable degree of security, but does not guarantee that such measures will be effective.

Any payment transactions will be encrypted. No credit card numbers used for processing payment transactions are retained for marketing purposes.

Where Planar provides you with (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of the Planar Site, you are responsible for keeping the password confidential. Planar asks you not to share a password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure.
