Project Overview
NASCAR’s world headquarters are located in the eight-story International Motorsports Center, directly across from the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The existing audio visual systems in a large room on the building’s first floor and a boardroom on the eighth floor—which NASCAR felt did not adequately represent their brand—were updated with LED video wall technology from Planar.
A nearly 16-foot-wide and 5½-foot-high Planar® TVF Series LED video wall was integrated in the large ground floor room and is used to support events and showcase and celebrate the sport of auto racing. On the eighth floor, a nearly 16-foot-wide, 7-foot-high Planar® DirectLight® Ultra™ Series LED video wall was installed for boardroom purposes, ambiance and other uses.
