Project Overview

Founded in 1892, the Portland Art Museum (PAM) is a cultural destination and educational resource that is internationally recognized for its special exhibitions and encyclopedic collection. PAM recently completed a major expansion and renovation, introducing several new gallery environments, including the Blair Family Gallery, which is dedicated to new media as an art form.

Within this new gallery space, the museum added a large, fine-pitch LED display. Consisting of a nearly 24-foot-wide by 13-foot-high LED video wall with a 1.2 millimeter pixel pitch, the installation provides a dynamic digital canvas for presenting works of new media art.
