Project Overview
The Hillsboro Hops of Minor League Baseball opened their new $154 million ballpark, which features modern amenities and high-tech designs to elevate the game-day experience. The 6,000-seat venue incorporates a 360-degree wraparound concourse, beer garden, dedicated food hall and a 9,000-square-foot climate-controlled lounge at the premium club level.
To energize crowds and create a visually dynamic atmosphere, a large deployment of Planar display technologies was installed throughout the ballpark. From an LED ribbon display and a large LED scoreboard to LED video walls and stadium-wide digital signage, the integrated display system is designed to engage fans and immerse them in the action. The stadium will also serve as a year-round entertainment destination with the Planar displays supporting uses that include concerts, festivals and community events.
