The NFL Network’s GameDay Studio airs 15 action-packed hours of live coverage every NFL Sunday, and the excitement generated by these broadcasts must be matched by the technology that augments them. That’s why NFL Network integrated Planar® LookThru® Transparent Display technology in the middle of the GameDay set.
The 55-inch transparent OLED displays allow audiences to view content on the glass while simultaneously seeing behind the display, creating truly see-through installations. On the GameDay set, NFL Network installed four monitors to form a video wall in a tiled two-by-two configuration and stacked another three monitors separately to create a vertical screen. The LookThru displays create an interesting scenic space on the set and allow the show to present live game action and recaps in a new and different way.
