Project Overview
Within the Palace des Nations of the European headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, the La Salle Des Emirats (also known as Hall XVII) was renovated under the auspices of the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates. Specifically, the update involved installing two LED displays from Planar.
The first was a 126-array Planar® TVH Series LED video wall with a 1.6mm pixel pitch that serves as the hall’s main presentation platform, providing a seamless canvas that maximizes viewing throughout the space. The second included a Planar® CarbonLight™ CLM Series see-through, mesh LED display on the ceiling of the La Salle Des Emirats. Installed in four quadrants, the CarbonLight CLM displays combine to depict an endless, limitless and infinite sky.
