Project Overview

Planar LED Video Wall Delivers Function and Aesthetic for World-Leading Public Health Institution

In Baltimore, MD., the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) is the largest school of public health in the world. A floor-to-ceiling renovation of a multipurpose room located in the school’s Wolfe St. building was completed to update the design and technology of the space. The main feature of the project involved replacing a projector system with a 12 ½-foot-long, 5-foot-high Planar® TWA Series LED video wall.

JHSPH representatives specified the TWA Series after visiting the Planar Showroom in Washington, D.C., selecting the product based on clarity, seamlessness, vibrancy, flexibility and how the technology could integrate with the room’s infrastructure. The new LED installation provides a visual centerpiece and elevates the value of the modernized room for hosting lectures, workshops, meetings and special events.
