Planar announces updates to the Planar PS4660T and PS5560T Interactive Commercial LCD displays
As part of the product life cycle process, Planar consistently evaluates and adjusts our product line offerings. Effective September 2, 2014, Planar is providing a Final Production Notice on the Planar® PS4660T and PS5560T interactive LCD monitors. We are pleased to announce that these displays will be replaced by the new Planar PS4661T and PS5561T, sharing the same number of touch points, general industrial design, and I/O connectivity as the PS4660T and PS5560T. The new PS4661T and PS5561T will incorporate 6 pt IR Touch technology and are in stock and available for shipment.
Introducing Planar PS4661T and PS5561T
The PS4661T and PS5561T are Planar’s next generation 46" and 55" interactive LCD displays. Engineered from the ground up for extended commercial use, the Planar PS-Series touch displays are recommended for 24x7 operation and come standard with integrated multi-touch supporting up to 6 points of simultaneous touch.
