Project Overview
On the campus of Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi (TAMU–CC), the Performing Arts Center (PAC) is a world-class performance venue that serves the university and the surrounding community and features a 1,350-seat concert hall with state-of-the-art acoustics. As part of a renovation to the PAC, a 28-foot-wide by 17-foot-high (17x10) Planar® CarbonLight™ CLI Series LED video wall was installed above the stage in the venue’s concert hall.
The university intends to use the new LED video wall for informative messaging and in conjunction with events and presentations that include film screenings and video enhanced orchestra performances. The Planar installation has also given the university and the PAC a new level of exposure within the Corpus Christi community, paving the way for future collaborative projects.
