Located in Portland, Ore., Oregon Health and Science University’s Knight Cancer Research Building was built to support a team science approach in the fight against cancer. The 320,000-square-foot facility was designed to foster collaboration and to transform how cancer research is conducted. Planar display technology was integrated throughout the facility to support this approach.
On the ground floor, a 52-foot-long, 10-foot-high Planar® CarbonLight™ CLI Series LED video wall that wraps around a corner was installed to build awareness about the scientific work being done in the building. In a 200-seat auditorium, a Planar® TWA Series LED video wall in a 4x4 configuration was installed for supporting scientific presentations. In the building’s meeting spaces, Planar® Simplicity™ Series 4K large format LCD displays support collaborative work and smaller presentations.
