Project Overview
The Chattanooga Police Department’s (CPD) Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC) relies heavily on a citywide network of public safety and city-owned cameras, along with video feeds from partnering businesses and other external sources. As the number of integrated camera systems expanded, and additional technologies and data sources were added, CPD recognized the need to upgrade its previous video wall system.
The RTIC was outfitted with a nearly 36-foot-long, 7-foot-high (9x3) Clarity® Matrix® G3 LCD Video Wall System. The new video wall serves as a focal point during real-time incidents, enabling operators to respond effectively. When no active incidents are underway, the video wall serves as a collaborative tool that supports CPD’s ongoing intelligence work.
