Planar Outdoor LED Video Wall Brings Dynamic Feature to Clemson University Rooftop Terrace
On the Clemson University campus, the Watt Family Innovation Center is the school’s most technology-enhanced academic building, featuring the latest in information technology and special facilities. When the four-story, 70,000-square-foot facility was built, Planar display technology was integrated throughout the interior. Two and a half years later, a new terrace opened on the building’s rooftop where a 13-foot-wide, 8-foot-high Planar® FX Series LED video wall was installed.
Designed for high ambient light environments, the Planar® FX Series LED video wall incorporates the brightness for exceptional visibility in the outdoor, rooftop area and creates opportunities to use the venue for meetings, presentations and entertainment. The addition of the LED video wall also boosts the value of the terrace as a rental space for hosting different events, such as weddings.
