Project Overview
West of Albuquerque, N.M., Route 66 Casino is a themed gaming facility designed with Route 66 memorabilia. An update to the gaming floor included the addition of Planar LED display technologies to engage guests and promote specific floor games. For a new themed gaming area named “Route to Riches,” Planar’s custom design team created a halo LED display using Planar® CarbonLight™ CLI Flex™ Series displays, providing a showpiece for driving awareness about the casino’s progressive games.
Following the success of the halo LED display, Route 66 installed a nearly 32-foot-long, 9-foot-high Planar® TVF Series LED video wall to draw attention to the casino’s promotional games by broadcasting them live on the display. When the casino is not running a promotional game, the LED video wall is used for digital signage, airing sports games or showing the casino’s advertising reel.
