Planar UltraRes Series is offered in three base models designed to meet different commercial needs, including the UR8450-3D, which can move seamlessly between 2D and passive glasses, continous 3D. With the addition of the Planar Profile™ Tiling Kit, two or more Planar UltraRes Series displays can be tiled horizontally for a compelling multi-display surface.
4K Touch Experience
Planar UltraRes Series is available with the latest in multi-user, multi-touch technology. Planar UltraRes Touch enables 6 simultaneous points of touch with pinpoint accuracy and support for gesture applications across the most popular operating systems. The displays incorporate Planar's ERO™ optically-bonded, low-friction protective glass which provides increased ruggedness and optical performance for applications in public spaces or interactive touch.

The Planar Profile™ Tiling Kit allows for optimized horizontal tiling of multiple Planar UltraRes Series displays and the industry's narrowest image-to-image gap for large format 4k displays.
Breakthrough Energy Efficiency
Planar UltraRes Series displays come with an advanced engery-efficient design that utilizes edge-lit LED technology and passive cooling. The displays can automatically switch to standby mode when no source is detected and consume less that 0.5 watt of standby power. Planar UltraRes Series displays include no lead or mercury and are fanless and absolutely quiet.
