At the heart of many of Planar's newest and most innovative LCD and LED video wall solutions is a unique distributed architecture design. This distributed design takes heat, complexity, and potential points-of-failure from the video wall display and places it in a centrally-located, easily accessible, and highly reliable rack-mounted system. This unique architecture means any system failure can be easily accessible, reducing downtime, and keeping vital video walls up and running.
Planar's Clarity® Matrix® LCD Video Wall System, Leyard DirectLight LED Video Wall System, Planar® DirectLight® LED Video Wall System, and Planar® Mosaic® Architectural Video Walls all feature Planar's unique off-board architecture design, ensuring these displays are the lightest, coolest running, quietest, slimmest profile and most reliable video walls available. In addition, the off-board design provides thin profile video wall displays, allowing minimal installation depth of less than 4 inches and complies with the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Clarity Matrix LCD Video Wall System with G2 Architecture feature a unique off-board distributed architecture that includes built-in video extension of up to 500 feet (150 meters), Clarity Matrix with G2 Architecture offers unprecedented installation flexibility while eliminating the cost and reliability concerns of using third-party cable extenders. No AC power outlets are required behind the displays and a single power supply module can now drive as many as eight Clarity Matrix displays, reducing the rack space requirement in half and further reducing the number of power outlets required. In addition, content processors are included in the off-board design.
Clarity Matrix video wall displays include the Planar® EasyAxis™ Mounting System, which provides an installed depth of just 3.6” (91mm)—the thinnest in the industry—for perfect panel-to-panel alignment.
The Planar DirectLight LED Video Wall System feature a unique off-board distributed architecture that delivers 24x7 reliability and improves serviceability. Planar DirectLight LED video walls offer a range of fault-tolerant configurations including n+1 power supplies and optional redundant video cabling.
Planar DirectLight LED video walls enable ultra-quiet, fan-less operation at the video wall as well as efficient cooling and improved maintenance access. In addition, the revolutionary Planar® EasyAlign™ Mounting System enables less than a 4" depth when mounted, making it ideal for space-constrained installations and eliminating the need for rear access space.
Planar Mosaic Architectural Video Walls feature off-board power supplies.
