Planar LED Video Walls Bring News to Life to Slovakia TV Studio
TV Markiza News Studio, Slovakia’s leading broadcasting station, was founded in 1996 and continues to play an essential role in the dissemination of news, entertainment, sports and popular international series.
When TV Markiza’s studio was upgraded, the broadcaster chose three curved Planar® TVH Series fine pitch LED video walls for its new set backdrop. The largest installation is 7.2 meters wide and 2.4 meters high and is used for news and reporting broadcasts. The next largest installation—a 7.2-meter-wide by 2.4-meter-high video wall—is used for sports, weather and international news stories. The smallest video wall, at 2.8 meters wide and 0.6 meters high, is located at the front of the anchor desk for presenting signage and branding content.
