Firmware Release: Planar UltraRes Series

Planar has released new firmware for the Planar UltraRes Series. Improvements in this latest firmware release include:

  • Simplified UltraRes Control interface to enable easier management of single input vs multiple input setup
  • Ability to use Ultrares MediaPlex with the remote control
  • Addition of four different presets to save and recall MediaPlex configurations
  • Dimmer standby LED light on the IR receiver

All UltraRes displays now shipping have the new firmware.  For existing installations, the newest version of the firmware can be accessed on the partner portal and can be upgraded in the field.
